WHO WE ARE

In 1999, Apex began as a small group of Far Hills Baptist Church, originally located at our current building. This is a picture of the chapel where we first met in our early years (this room is now the Apex Theater). Apex began as a college and young adult ministry that grew into and planted as a church attended by many in the Dayton region during the early 21st century. 

In the early years of Apex Church, she grew very large and very quickly. It wasn't long after that the leadership at Apex chose to learn how to make disciples following the global church by decentralizing and becoming a network of house churches. Apex embraced a ministry that ensured we would always be in relationship with God (UP), with sisters and brothers (IN), and with the world around us (OUT) through our shared ministry and mission that mimics the words, works, and ways of Jesus.

We aim to foster an environment where people can experience an intimate relationship with Jesus, discover their identity as they are formed to become like Him and learn to imitate His life. Through these means, we believe people can experience new life and embrace a new way of being human. This is why we endeavor to connect people with Jesus in every area of life.
